Jiří Zelený, PhD, is an assistant professor and researcher of agricultural and consumer economics using sociology, econometrics, and sensory evaluation. Dr Zelený has been a member of many research project teams and published more than 30 scientific items, of which many are indexed and cited in Scopus and Web of Science databases. He has been awarded by the Institute of Food Products Marketing in Australia and by The Czech Minister of Agriculture for his research activities. He gained professional experience in the USA, Australia, Israel, and many European countries.
